I'm a fan of films, music, books and TV amongst other things. I try to keep up to date but, with 2 young kids, most of my cinema trips end up being to 3D cartoons these days. Instead, I watch DVDs from my LoveFilm account.
I try to watch a variety of films, including recent big hits and old, obscure classics, so any reviews I post on here are likely to be somewhat out of date, but hopefully they'll be interesting. I like to think I know enough about films to give a valid opinion on them - I've done a film studies A-level and watched enough DVD extras/commentaries to have a rudimentary understanding of film techniques - but I don't pretend I'm anything other than an amateur critic.
I'll also review TV programmes, books, comedy shows, podcasts and anything else I feel like as and when I've watched/read/listened to them.
